Web design news, rants and raves plus the odd biscuit recipe.

HTML Email Newsletters

It's a busy time of year for marketing. I was baffled walking into the local supermarket at the start of October and seeing Santa and his bunch of chocolate coated mates being prepped for purchase so early. But I got to thinking it is coming up to Christmas, just because I'm not prepared for it doesn't mean everyone else isn't.

It's the perfect time for businesses to get in touch with customers and provide solutions for some of those purchase concerns! We've been kept busy the last couple of weeks getting into HTML email marketing for a variety of clients. We've been creating emails to cover subscription renewal for Ambulance Victoria, a new line of mens shirts from Jack Bootle, climbing equipment from the guys at Cliffhanger, new tunes from Jazzhead and services from Film Victoria.

It's great seeing good responses from these email campaigns. To drop an email in front of someone at the right time can mean a definite sale for that online store or visit to that website. Email newsletters with Efront makes the whole process easy, including :

  • Creation of a HTML email with the look and feel of your current brand
  • Delivery to a provided list of names/email addresses
  • Customisation of the email, ie. Dear John, drawn from the information you provide
  • A text and web based version of the HTML email so that those without the ability to view don't miss out
  • 'Forward to a friend' option that let's the receiver pass the email on without breaking the code AND let's you see how many people have forwarded your message
  • FULL reporting, including but not limited to: how many delivered, how many opened, WHO opened and which links they clicked.

So, if you've got a product, a message or just something to say, HTML email marketing is a cost effective, professional way to get it out there, get in touch if you'd like more information.

Cheers
Mark
