It's great to add a new client, especially a funny one. Nazeem and Aamer do ...
"Standup comedy about all the things you are scared to think about: Islam, race relations, sedition, and the War on Terror."
Part of the ever burgeoning portfolio of Smartartists Management, we've put up a placeholder page with some YouTube video for their upcoming run at the Comedy Festival and we're looking forward to working on the rest of the site.
Have a great Thursday peeps.... www.brownplanet.com.au

"The EJ Whitten Legends Game is a unique fundraising appeal organised by Baker Smith Management to raise money for Prostate Cancer research and to promote an awareness of men’s health."
We've had the pleasure of working with the guys at Baker Smith Management on the implementation of their new website. Starting with a new look courtesy of Bri-ter, we've worked hard on implementing a bunch of new features to the 2008 website. We've put the entire site onto a database driven CMS, giving complete content control back to the team at Baker Smith. They're able to add/edit and delete pages, format copy, upload images and hide pages from view so as to get them ready for release.
Along with contact forms and email subscription management there's some great options for BSM to manage their collected data for marketing. Keep an eye out for some new multimedia content and the secure online payment forms for some of BSM's special marketing activities.
It's been great to be able to donate our time in support of an organisation with such a worthy cause.

It's great to be able to come into February with another online store launched. We've been working hard with David and the team from Eleusian on getting the new version of their online store ready since early December.
Eleusian Skin Care have had an online store running with Efront for 5 years and it was time to update. Running specials every two months had meant that in the past, Eleusian would contact Efront and we'd update their specials list with new prices, member information and updated images. Moving to the new store format has allowed Eleusian to take control of their content again. Not paying bills for content maintenance is just the start. Being able to jump into the site and add items when you see fit is liberating, it puts the content back in the hands of the owner, where it should have been all along. We don't kid ourselves here, we know the web, but we don't know skin care and as such should not be writing about it.
Just a glimpse of Eleusian's new online features include two-tiered pricing for regular customers and members, the ability to turn products on and off when needs be, secure checkout, delivery rate control, AJAX pop ins for images and the entire store is coded to be search engine friendly keeping Google in mind throughout the entire process.
The Eleusian products have had a lot of research go into them and as such, there's a lot of information available if you want to read it. The new store means Eleusian doesn't need to have a supporting website AND a store, as David has written about previously, the ability to have static pages alongside your products, means less confusion for your visitor and that your store becomes the 'one stop' destination it should be.
Congratulations to David and the team at Eleusian, it takes a lot of hard work to get a new site up and running and we're proud to be able to help them out.
